Last month, I decided that I would arrange the songs in reverse order by year and then alphabetically within each year, and I really quite liked it. I lay back and felt myself travel back through time. It was an entire vacation, so I decided to do nearly the same thing this month, only this time the songs are in reverse order by year and then reverse order alphabetically within each year.

(Look, I enjoy information organization, and it tickles me when a method of organization arbitrarily applied to a pile of information creates the mirage of a narrative. It feels like the universe is letting the tumblers fall into place. I took a course once, and there was a whole section on filing and filing systems, and I aced that glorious thing.)

Anyway, this is a good playlist. You’ll like it.
