40% of the songs are from 2025, and the complete original playlist on Apple Music is about 2 hours and 21 minutes long with 40 songs across 9 decades and 15 genres: alternative, alternative folk, country, dance, electronic, folk, hip-hop/rap, indie rock, jazz, pop, R&B/soul, rock, singer/songwriter, soundtrack, and worldwide. The songs are in reverse order by year and then in alphabetical order by artist within each year.

These monthly playlists are a bit of a music history sampler moving backwards through time if you play the songs in order, but I like to hit shuffle and let them surprise me.
