I usually create monthly playlists that act as music history samplers moving backwards through time, but this one is bigger, bolder, and thoroughly grounded in music from 2025. This monster playlist includes 100 songs released in 2025 by 100 different artists, or combinations thereof. I haven’t put the songs through any sort of ranking system, so you’ll have to pick your own #1, because I can’t settle on a top ten, let alone the best one out of all of them. Throw this on shuffle and have at it!

(I was going to write “it’ll be music to your ears,” but that’s so on the nose as to be embarrassing, and yet here I am confessing to my knee-jerk dad joke. Maybe it’s a kink. I’m terrible at playing things cool. Forgiver me, Father.)
